به گزارش روز پنج شنبه ایرنا، این نشست با حضور حمید بقایی معاون رییس جمهوری ، وزیر نفت، مدیرعامل شركت ملی نفت ایران، مدیرعامل شركت نفت فلات قاره، مدیرعامل شركت مهندسی و توسعه نفت(متن) و جمعی از كارشناسان نفت و گاز و پتروشیمی و مدیرعامل و معاونان سازمان منطقه آزاد كیش در سالن اجتماعات سازمان منطقه آزاد كیش برگزار شد.

حمید بقایی در این جلسه گفت: منابع گازی كیش از سرمایه های ملی كشور است و بهره برداری از آن، راه توسعه كشور را هموارتر خواهد كرد و به همین منظور سازمان منطقه آزاد كیش امادگی كامل خود را برای همكاری با وزارت نفت در این زمینه اعلام می دارد.

وی با اشاره به اهمیت حفظ محیط زیست در این منطقه گردشگری، بر رعایت حفظ مسائل زیست محیطی تاكید كرد و افزود: در این نشست تاكید می كنم كه سایر موارد اعم از پالایش، صادرات و تاسیسات تكمیلی در این منطقه ایجاد نخواهد شد.

بقایی با بیان اینكه وجود گاز برای كیش به عنوان یك منبع مهم انرژی پاك جهت بهره برداری صنعتی و خانگی مهم است، تصریح كرد: تردد مسوولین و كارشناسان داخلی و خارجی به كیش باعث رونق این جزیره می شود و باید بخشی از درآمدهای حاصل از صدور این فرآورده، برای ایجاد زیرساخت های جدید و توسعه منطقه آزاد كیش اختصاص یابد.

معاون اجرایی رییس جمهوری با تاكید بر این مطلب كه اراضی مورد نیاز برای ایجاد تاسیسات استخراج، اداری، مسكونی و آموزشی وزارت نفت در كیش خارج از محدوده های گردشگری و طرح جامع خواهد بود، ادامه داد: كیش متعلق به همه مردم ایران است و ما فقط اداره آن را بر عهده داریم.

وی در پایان با بیان اینكه این جزیره پاك به عنوان یك سرمایه ملی باید حفظ شود، ابراز امیدواری كرد: در این پروژه بزرگ ملی به نسبت طراحی فضاهای ساخت و ساز باید به گسترش فضای سبز نیز توجه شود و منابع استراتژیك گاز كیش بدون هیچ لطمه ای به محیط زیست و مسایل گردشگری این منطقه، وارد چرخه اقتصاد كشور شود.
